SignWorks has been collaborating over the past months with Tong Enterprises on the correct size and color scheme for a way-finding sign that would make the addressing clearer. The company is located on a busy industrial corridor and experiencing delivery delays as the drivers are bypassing the location due to inadequate signage, The company wanted a budget friendly solution that emphasized the addressing issue rather than the branding, meaning that the 5 ft. wide and 4 ft. tall post and panel sign would devote its message more to the address (street name and number), than to the corporate brand. The large address numbers and street name were far more important in this particular instance, given the tight space that we were working with. The sign was made of a laminated digital print with painted redwood posts that were mounted in concrete.
The company operates as a wholesale food brokerage and has done so for the past 40m years. They employ sixteen people at an individual location and generate approximately $8.1 million in annual revenue based on the importing and exporting activities at this location. Being found quickly by delivery drivers is extremely important to their operation!
