We are always happy to support our local repeat clients with fast turn-around time so when Lantz Properties notified us that they had been tagged by the Fire Department to add additional signs we were happy to help. They needed a FACP (Fire Alarm Control Panel) sign and other fire safety signs in a hurry. After all SignWorks has been producing these signs for a very long time and considers itself very knowledgeable about fire safety and evacuation map signs in general. Their order called for six 10” wide by 5” tall Fire Door signs and a 10” wide by 7” tall FACP sign. Local fire departments expect fire equipment to be properly identified and fire doors to be labeled. It is a matter of public safety. As you can see from the picture the vibrant red and white coloring grabs your attention and would be very hard to miss!
These signs are used by property owners and managers alike, however, given the board latitude given to fire inspectors additional signs can be required when a different inspector is assigned to inspect the property. Plus, it is always good to err on the side of additional caution.
