We are happy to report that another major project for a local contractor is now complete and installed. In fact, this project is the second of three projects we have worked on with this contractor and we’re pleased about the repeat business we are garnering.
The project consists of eleven 16” by 20” floor evacuation maps, 28 smaller room evacuation maps, fifteen ADA (Americans with Disabilities) 6” by 6” tenant signs. For the room signs the client chose a black background with white tactile lettering and braille for an edgy modern look. As is our typical process, we had performed a site survey to confirm what was required for compliance with local ADA and fire safety guidelines. We also generated approval proofs for the client to review and approve. We also managed the San Francisco building department and Fire Department approval processes for our client.
Our installers completed the installation last weekend and made sure to mount the signs so that they were compliant with local ADA and fire safety height guidelines.
SignWorks has become very knowledgeable about ADA and fire safety guidelines over the years. So If you are a contractor, property owner or manager we would be very glad to share our know how with you. We know that you simply cannot afford to take chances on whether the ADA signs and evacuation maps comply with guidelines or risk that they are improperly installed! Using our company will ensure that you are in compliance. We hope to work with you on your next renovation project and that you’ll give us the opportunity to do that.
