SignWorks continues to fabricate a variety of parking and property restrictions for our clients, including Trader Joe’s. These types of signs use a standard 24” by 18” .080 aluminum sign blank that, in the case of Trader Joe’s, clarifies the retailer’s stance with regards to automobile shopping cart damage. The language is custom and unique to our client, while other parking and property restriction signs have mandated language, sizing and appearance. The great thing about being able to use a standard blank size is that the signs can be produced quickly, especially if it is just a matter of laying down cut vinyl lettering onto the surface of the blank. In fact, we shipped six of the pictured signs to the Hartsdale, NY store just yesterday!
Oftentimes, it works in the client’s favor for us to propose an alternative size or material, rather than the clients’ more customized sizing. After all, material savings can be sizable over having to provide custom sizing and having to use a metal fabricator to cut the aluminum sheeting down to the specified size.
