SignWorks was thrilled to be contacted by Aldridge Group, a Chicago based electrical contractor, working on a project at the San Leandro BART station.  They had been referred to us based on the fact that we had produced signage for previous BART projects.  The project consisted of fabricating a total of eight .080 thick aluminum signs with white reflective sheeting with red text and symbols.  The blanks, two of each, measuring 18” by 36”, 18” by 12”, 30” by 18” and 18” by 18” and as pictured were needed to insure public safety and enforce other property restrictions.  The reflective sheeting would make the signs visible at night.  It was also important that the font selection complied with Federal Traffic Guidelines.

Once the specifications were provided we supplied our client with an approval proof to review with BART. This process took a few weeks and the proof was approved without any corrections.  We ordered the custom blanks from a trusted supplier and began the fabrication once the aluminum blanks arrived.  The signs were delivered this past Monday.
