We are happy to report that there is a new donor who is contributing to the work of the local non-profit called From the Garden to the Table (FGTT) or G2T.  Though the text on the plaque was changed to reflect the new detail, the etched stainless steel plaque was produced in much the same way.  SignWorks, worked closely with Gemini, our preferred plaque wholesaler, to get the text updated and to have the plaque produced using the Giclee process.  This process allows the art to be printed onto the plaque allowing for color and gradient detail which etching or engraving does not.

The 7” wide and 3.43” tall etched stainless steel plaque is being placed in kitchen environment in a Veterans Home where veterans were being taught to cook and eat healthy meals.  Stainless steel was selected because the material had to be able to withstand cleaning using mild soapy water.  The attached art proof (pictured) shows how colorful a plaque can be!  We will post a live picture one the client sends us one as these plaques are shipped directly to the client.

G2T was established in 1996 and focuses on reaching vulnerable youth and communities via programs that promote healthy living through physical, mental and spiritual practices that are organic and sustainable.  They promote a live and eat green philosophy and offer programs to youth, parents and schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
