SignWorks , working with a trusted companion sign company just filled another Coast Crane order for 21 engraved placards.  Since we turn their projects around so quickly, we have become their go to company for engraved placards for their cranes.  OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) compliance can be tricky, so San Leandro based Coast Crane always wants these signs fabricated and shipped quickly.  This time the order was placed on July 5 and was produced and shipped today, July 9.

We were happy to be able to help with rush projects, even though we can’t guarantee this type of turn around all the time.  These exterior grade engraving plastics are specifically rated for outdoor use and hold up well against the elements.  And, this type of engraving has very broad commercial usage and can be used to produce labels and placards across a broad spectrum of industries.

Often, we think of engraving on metal trophies and placards that are used for celebratory events and recognition, but in actuality engraving has many more commercial purposes.  Plus, laser engraving materials include a variety of materials from metals, to plastics, to glass and stone.  The laser etches away the surface material leaving the desired letters, logos or marks.
