SignWorks was contacted by the Hayward branch of  Thermo Fisher to fabricate and install vehicle graphics on two of their vehicles used for by the business for deliveries. The graphics needed to include the mandated Department of Transportation (DOT) numbers.

After generating the approval proofs and making the vinyl decals, we connected with our client to arrange scheduling. With work vehicles this can often be problematic because taking a working vehicle off the road means losing money! For that reason, we often go to the client location to install earlier in the morning provided that the weather is not too cold as vinyl is best installed in warmer climates. If it is too cold the vinyl becomes hard and brittle, as opposed to relaxed and easier to install. Plus, installing outdoors requires lots of attention to detail to prevent dirt and small insects from becoming trapped behind the vinyl graphics.
