SignWorks was thrilled when the Town of Moraga contacted us again.  They loved the previous HDU (High Density Urethane) and decided to use the same design again for the sign at Rancho Laguna Park.  We aren’t sure what was there before but HDU makes an excellent replacement for wooden signs.  The wear characteristics of HDU (High Density Urethane) make for a long lasting sign that is impervious to rot, bird droppings, etc.  The sign pictured is 70” wide and 30” tall and 1.5” thick. After sandblasting, it was painted in the colors specified by Town of Moraga personnel to match the color scheme used throughout their park system.

The project began in in Mid-February and after the sign was approved for production it took about 5 weeks to fabricate.  Our installers completed the installation just last week.  We use treated wood posts that are anchored in cement and then mount the sign panel to the posts.  This new sign will be in place for many years to come and are an excellent choice for the outdoors, especially in rustic settings.

Moraga is a beautiful small town nestled in the hillside between Orinda and Lafayette.  The population there is very diverse.  It has many parks, trails, and a golf course as well as an array of outdoor activities to fit most tastes.
