SignWorks is pleased to have completed yet another logo lobby sign for the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). It appears that the previous one got so much favorable attention that their management decided to add another one on the third floor of another building they occupy in Santa Clara. This is our third project with the agency and their second dimensional lobby sign made of ¼” thick flat cut acrylic and in the agency’s colors. The word mark was 18.13” tall and 40.7” wide and contained text elements at 3.58” for the name and tag line.
Santa Clara VTA was established in 1972 and provides sustainable community focused transportation options, including bus, light rail and paratransit services, to its riders. Their approach is very innovative and environmentally friendly. They are responsible for the county’s transportation and congestion management programs. They are also charged with the design and construction of highway, pedestrian and bicycle improvement projects. They work in collaboratively and in conjunction with Caltrain, Capital Corridor and Altamont Corridor Express.
