When Seeds of Awareness, an Oakland based non-profit, first contacted us they were excited to have found a new location at a local church. They were already in possession of a logo and needed three different sized exterior building signs for various locations. We immediately go to work creating art proofs for the signs, a large 72” by 60” and two smaller signs measuring 36” by 16” and 12” by 16”. Once approved the signs were digitally printed and then mounted to DiBond, an aluminum sheeting material used for exterior signs. In fact, the larger sign proved to be a little too large for the mounting location so we are in the process of remaking a 72’ by 24” version.
Seeds of Awareness is a counseling organization dedicated to transforming schools and communities by cultivating things like empathy, connection and support. They offer counseling and mentorship programs that teach social-emotional learning in the classroom which includes mindfulness training as well as nature-based social skills to groups in the local community.
SignWorks, Inc. has been helping local businesses brand there locations for the past ten years and has fabricated a variety of exterior building signs using vinyl graphics mounted to DiBond, aluminum and MDO, a wood like substrate. We have also used dimensional logos and lettering in acrylic and in a variety of metals and, and in some cases hung large building banners on multi-story buildings. We are happy to help you with your next building sign project and can make recommendations that help you to economize!
