Metal building signs are an affordable option when allowed by landlords and cities. Recently, SignWorks, Inc., Hayward, CA produced an aluminum sign to be installed at American Refrigeration Supplies, San Leandro, CA on behalf of property managers MacLaughlin and Company in Sacramento, CA.
In the past SignWorks installed and painted several 3mm thick DiBond aluminum signs for MacLaughlin and Company.  The sign for American Refrigeration Supplies was a 60-inch wide by 15-inch tall vinyl decal mounted to a 118.875-inch wide by 16.875-inch high painted aluminum sign face. When SignWorks arrived at the building with a scissor lift to install the sign 20 feet off the ground, we discovered the frame at this location was thinner than the previous frames and the 3mm thick aluminum would not fit. SignWorks made a new sign on .063 thick aluminum at no charge and the client absorbed the cost of the second scissor lift rental.
