PDE has been a long term client of SignWorks and they have used us to letter and apply graphics to several vehicles. Recently, the company logo changed meaning that six of the company vehicles would need to be updated. Because the company works in the construction space, and sometimes on secured sites, this means that we as a vendor would be unable to work onsite at some of their client’s facilities.
To date we have completed four of the six vehicles where the logo/lettering needed to be updated. The issue is focused primarily on project and schedule management and PDE works with us to look for installation opportunities at client locations where there is no facility restriction regarding on-site vendors. A secondary issue is the removal of the old graphics which is billed at time and material rates. This is because removal time will depend on how long the old vinyl has been in place and/or baked onto the vehicle surface by the elements. It is impossible for us to know whether a vehicle has been garaged or stored in a more moderate climate. That being said, vinyl removal time can vary greatly!
