We have been working with San Leandro based Silman Construction for a couple of years now and have lettered many of the company vehicles. At present the company is working on a building project and needed to create a project identification sign that replicates their logo. The sign will be prominently displayed at the jobsite. These types of project identification signs are typical for most construction companies and SignWorks has produced many of them in the past for our construction industry customers working on small and large projects alike.
Typically these types of signs are produced using heavy gauge aluminum or an aluminum composite such as DiBond or Alupanel. The finished sign is then mounted to the building, an exterior fence, or mounted between wood posts at the job site. In the case of larger capital improvement projects involving government agencies, the project ID sign will also contain the various state and local agency emblems and project funding sources.
