Recently we completed a vehicle lettering project for the Oakland Police Departments Tactical Operations unit.  The vehicle had been purchased and lettered elsewhere but unfortunately the letters had been misaligned during the installation.  Our task was to remove the slanted lettering, clean the area and reapply the letters so they would be straight.  Often, when the lettering is relatively new the task is simple and doesn’t take much time.  However, with older vehicles that are parked in the sun the removal task becomes more complex as the vinyl letters will become brittle and dry making it difficult to peel them off easily.  Fortunately, this was not the case.

Used in hostage negotiation situations, we were amazed by how large the vehicle was on the inside and by the vehicles contents.  We enjoy adding interesting projects to our portfolio and this was certainly one of them.  Regardless of whether you need to letter a small vehicle or wrap a tank or trailer tractor, please contact SignWorks for your next vehicle or fleet graphics project.  We can be reached at (510) 357-2000 or email us at info@signworks.us.com.
