Introduction

SignWorks is excited to announce our collaboration with Alameda Point Developers to boost attendance at their Open House events. Our mission is to help sell out the live-work development at the old Alameda Naval Base. With new signs in the works, including a large MDO tripod monument, several signicades, a plaque, and additional signs for the dog park, we are ready to make a significant impact. We are just waiting for a few more rendering approvals before we can start. This is an exciting project, so let’s review some details!

The Big MDO Tripod Monument

What is an MDO Tripod Monument?

MDO stands for Medium Density Overlay, which is a type of plywood that is durable and great for outdoor signs. A tripod monument is a large, three-legged structure that can stand independently. This type of sign is perfect for grabbing attention due to its size and stability.

Why is it Important?

The MDO tripod monument will be the centerpiece of our signage efforts. It will feature photographic images that showcase the beautiful live-work spaces at Alameda Point. This sign will be placed in a high-traffic area to attract as many visitors as possible to the Open House events. The goal is to create a visual impact that makes people curious and excited to see more.

Adding Signicades for Direction

What are Signicades?

Signicades are portable signs that are often used for directing traffic or giving information. They are lightweight, easy to move, and can be placed anywhere they are needed.

How Will They Help?

We will be placing several signicades around Alameda Point to guide visitors to the Open House. These signs will include directions, event times, and other important information. By having clear and visible signicades, we can ensure that visitors have a smooth and enjoyable experience finding their way to the event.

A Plaque to Add Directional Details

The Purpose of the Plaque

A plaque is a flat, typically metal sign that can be used to commemorate or honor a particular place or event. For Alameda Point, this plaque will serve as permanent directional marker that will help visitors navigate the vibrant live-work community.

Enhancing the Dog Park with New Signs

Importance of the Dog Park

A well-maintained dog park is a great amenity for any community. It provides a safe space for residents to bring their pets and socialize with other pet owners. The dog park at Alameda Point is no exception.

New Signs for Better Experience

We are adding new signs to the dog park to make it more user-friendly. These signs will include rules for the park, information about pet safety, and directions to nearby amenities. By improving the signage, we aim to create a welcoming environment for all dog owners and their furry friends.

The Waiting Game: Rendering Approvals

What are Rendering Approvals?

Before we can start producing and installing the signs, we need to get the final renderings approved. Renderings are detailed drawings or models of what the signs will look like. These need to be reviewed and approved by the developers to ensure they meet all specifications and expectations.

Why the Wait?

Waiting for rendering approvals can be a bit frustrating, but it’s a necessary step. It ensures that everyone is on the same page and that the final product will be perfect. We are eagerly awaiting the green light so we can begin the actual work and bring these signs to life.

Conclusion

Our partnership with Alameda Point Developers is an exciting opportunity to enhance Open House attendance and help sell out the live-work development at the old Alameda Naval Base. With a variety of new signs, including a large MDO tripod monument, signicades, a commemorative plaque, and additional dog park signs, we are ready to make a big impact. While we wait for the final rendering approvals, our team is preparing to hit the ground running. Stay tuned for more pictures and information once we move forward with this exciting project!
