SignWorks has been working with Alameda Point Developers on a variety of fronts and though we had recently installed several parking restriction signs, the visitor parking at Storehouse Lofts is still problematic. After reviewing the situation with one of our favorite contractors we decided that ten more of the custom 24”x24” tow away signs were necessary. We also added six, 18”x 12” reflective Electric Vehicle Signs, six custom No Smoking and two custom No Tap House or Restaurant parking signs. All the signs were made of heavy-duty aluminum to minimize the risk of bending or warping over time.
The new custom signs included a design component but based on our collaborative history with one another, this happened very quickly. We ordered blanks from our wholesaler, Grimco and once they arrived began the fabrication process. The entire process including delivery and installation took just shy of a month. We are also getting ready to close out a second order of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) tenant signs to complete phase 2 of the project. More about that later.
Storehouse Lofts is a mixed-use commercial space that houses retail, live-work lofts, a roof top garden, café and more.
