SignWorks continues to work alongside staff at the Union City Townhouse Association to develop and provide building and street signs for the property. The newest order consisted of two reflective address signs for the property, one at 48” wide and 60” tall and the other at 36” wide and 30” tall and 8 new 30” by 6” street signs for the property. All new signs require Board approval. but the process was speedy as the art files and formats are things we are already familiar with. After all, this is the third time we have worked with this client.
The property address signs were made using .063 aluminum with Engineering Grade Reflective vinyl. The street sign were fabricated using blanks we ordered from a local supplier. The lettering was done in-house. Further, reflective signs are typically used at residential complexes and townhouses because of their enhanced visibility at night. Also, font selection will aid in making sure the text is legible and easy to read.
The association’s primary purpose is to provide maintenance and protection of the residence lots and common areas. This preserves the property’s attractiveness and value, as well as maintains architectural control, be it landscaping, structures or facilities, which are all importance. Membership is automatic for all owners and is set forth in the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) as recorded with the County of Alameda.
