SignWorks is thrilled to have completed even more custom parking signs for Alameda Point Developer Storehouse 8 Phase 1, which is now complete. All the live work units are complete and the new restaurant, Salt Breaker, is a tremendous success. So much so that tenant parking for the residents is becoming problematic. We once again worked with the contractor to develop 26 custom parking signs aimed at ensuring that only those possessing storehouse loft parking passes, would be allowed to park in certain areas.  These heavy-duty aluminum signs are 24” by 24” and reiterate the parking restrictions. They advise visitors where to call in the event their vehicle gets towed. We installed these a few weeks ago; six on 10 ft. galvanized poles and the remainder on the building’s frontal metal railings, along with some 7” by 10” No Smoking signs.

We are currently collaborating with the contractor on several additional signs, including more of the custom parking/towing signs, electric vehicle parking, no smoking and another custom sign aimed at curbing unauthorized parking at the restaurant and new Tap House.

We have also begun working on the ADA signs for Phase 2 of Building 8 Storehouse consisting of 154 ADA room identification signs, 12 stair ID signs, 5 12’ by 12” restroom signs along with a few other ADA signs.  The approval process moved very quickly since things like color selection and sizing were a mirror of phase 1. In fact, the phase 2 signs are approved and already in production.

This mixed-use commercial space houses retail, live-work lofts, a roof top garden, café and so much more. Our crew looks forward to installing the remaining exterior parking signs, as well as the phase 2 ADA signs when they are complete.
