SignWorks was happy to connect once again with Stanford’s Sigma Chi who needed our help. They had ordered a brass plaque for an upcoming celebration which would include a building plaque dedication. Unfortunately, they did not have the necessary skilled to install it onto the buildings highly textured façade. The installation required drilling the wall to insert anchors that would hold the plaque in place.
We aren’t sure where the plaque was ordered form but thought we would take this opportunity to talk about our favorite wholesale plaque supplier, Gemini. We have had a relationship with this supplier since starting our business and have never been disappointed with their plaque offering or the lifetime passthrough warranty that comes with every purchase.
There are many metal options when ordering plaques. These include brass, aluminum, and bronze in cast or precision tooled and with eleven finishing options that use environmentally friendly lead and mercury free alloys. These can include logo’s, portraits and even picture elements. They work well for professional offices, schools and universities, government buildings and come in a variety of depths.
Their etched plaque offering features true artistic expression that allows for the inclusion of line art or photographic halftone images. The metal choices here are brass, bronze, copper, steel and aluminum. And, the graphics can be raised or recessed. These plaques can be as thin as 1/16th of an inch.
