SignWorks was thrilled to once again be working with AMP Printing on an installation project in San Jose, CA. While we did not produce the new 8 ft by 329 ft. mesh banner, we were asked to remove the old ones and install new client supplied mesh banners. We have been working with this premier print company for four and a half years and are beginning to work with four other project managers based on our performance on past projects.
AMP Printing is major print vendor in Dublin, who was looking for a signage partner to help them with some unique services that they do not offer in house. Truth be told, their client base reads like the Who’s Who of Silicon Valley, so while they will happily supply the print and wall graphics, whether small or large digital format, the client roster means that they will often partner with others to fill the needs that their clients will ask for help in satisfying them. This includes large installation projects like the one pictured.
The company has been around since 1979, and like SignWorks is woman owned. AMP Printing operate in a 200, 000 square foot state of the art facility in Dublin, CA with a staff of over 150 employees. They provide an array of print services that include traditional offset printing, short run digital printing, large format digital printing, letterpress and much more. Their services include bindery, kitting, and fulfillment services.
SignWorks can also confirm that we have other projects pending with the printing giant. Only some of the work includes installation, while other projects are for specialty vinyl work that will be produced in-house, along with outsourced ADA signage.
SignWorks has designed, fabricated, and installed several exterior banner projects throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area, including a building sign banner for Alameda Point Developers and for BMW of Fairfield.
