SignWorks was thrilled when we were contacted by California State University Eastbay Theatre Department with a time sensitive request for new Coroplast inserts for their upcoming program.  They were specific about both the size and material for the 23.75” by 35.75” signs because the 22 signs had to fit inside an existing sign frame on campus.  Because the program changes periodically, staff decided that Coroplast was the most cost-effective material to use.

You will often see Coroplast used for temporary signage, especially during election season, for golf tournaments where a particular hole on the course is sponsored by an individual or business, and for a host of other temporary sign uses. This corrugated plastic sheeting comes in full 4 ft. wide by 8 ft. tall sheets so that it can be cut to size, or in pre-made sign blanks sized at 18” by 24” or 24” by 24”.  The material is light weight with a hollow structure that is non-toxic, and provides superior protection while resisting dirt, water and grease.

The CSU Eastbay Théâtre Department offers a performance-oriented program for undergraduate students.  Their department productions offer students the opportunity to perform beginning in their very first year.  The department is very diverse and former students who work professionally hold teaching positions locally and across the nation in theater, technical theater, design and stage management.  The program features innovative theater and dance curriculums that are oriented toward the upcoming generation of performance artists.

SignWorks has worked with many schools, landscape artists and the like to produce high quality temporary signs like the one pictured.  When or if your organization needs signs like these in a hurry, we are here to help with design and production as well as the H-stakes needed for mounting these signs in the ground.
