We are so pleased that our partnership with AMP Printing continues to flourish. They sought us out yet again! This printing company is the choice of large operations like Google, San Francisco and they continue to seek us out for specialty ADA signage when their clients need it. When their major clients, like Google, remodel their offices or reconfigure work spaces, they don’t want to have to reinvent their signage. That would be extremely expensive given the more cost effective approach to seek out a vendor who can color match the existing ADA compliant (Americans with Disabilities Act) and art elements of the new or amended signage to match the rest of the space. In this case the ADA signs represented several 7” by 7” signs showing various custom conference rooms. The signs were installed this past Saturday so as not to interrupt the client’s business operation.
Working with our ADA wholesaler we of course still produced art proofs for the client to approve to ensure that we don’t introduce any typographical errors and to ensure the color selection, sizing and fonts are all of the client’s choosing.
Based in Dublin, AMP Printing’s client base reads like the who’s who of Silicon Valley, and while they’ll happily supply print and wall graphics, whether small or large digital format, their client roster means that they will often partner with others to fill other client needs. Their company was founded in 1979 and, like SignWorks is woman owned. Their 150 plus employees are housed in a fabulous 200,000 square foot state of the art building. Their print services include many things, like traditional offset printing, short run digital printing, large format digital printing, letterpress as well as bindery, kitting and fulfillment services.
SignWorks has not received permission to and cannot share anything other than generic ADA sign photographs, but we are sure that the Google is pleased at not having to invest in new ADA room signs for the entire floor remodel process!
