SignWorks was happy to assist a local architect in selecting the right material for his outdoor jobsite sign. He knew he needed a durable sign that would withstand the elements and was trying to decide between a hard plastic or acrylic, and DiBond. We explored the options and he decided on DiBond, an aluminum composite that features a corrugated core sandwiched between two thin aluminum panels. It makes for a very affordable yet ridged sign that is extremely budget friendly.
He came to us with two options for the background and later, after reviewing the art proofs, decided on the darker background. As you can see from the picture the finished sign is attractive, has a god balance of color, and
is readable.
SignWorks has done many DiBond signs ranging in size from extremely small to large exterior building signs. In fact, recently we sent some custom DiBond signs to our retail client, Trader Joe’s because a fire inspection had revealed a deficiency in the signage at one of their locations. The Fire Department was insisting on an outdoor “Fire Riser” sign and a small address sign, so we rushed our client small DiBond signs to fulfill these requirements.
