When SignWorks was approached by a local veterinarian in Livermore they had just acquired a space for their pet hospital.  They recognized the importance of branding and needed to personalize the space with their own logo and an appropriate tag line.  The lighted cabinet sign that was there was in great condition, so replacing the sign faces was what was needed.  We recommended LEXAN over acrylic because poly-plastic products that don’t shatter are a lot sturdier for sign faces that are going to be at ground level.

As is typical of our company process, our designer worked with the client to customize the sign with their logo and wording for the tag line.  Once approved, the logo print and cut vinyl tag line in complimentary colors, was mounted to the two LEXAN sign faces. The overall sizes were approximately 8 ft. wide and 4 ft. tall for the large sign ace and 6 ft. by 3 ft. for the smaller one.  Both were installed a few weeks ago.

And, as you can see from the photograph vinyl graphics the project turned out well.   Vinyl graphics can be used to dress up even the most mundane items.  In the past we have used digital prints for vehicle and fleet graphics, as well as to dress up vending machines, donation bins, utility boxes and corrugated containers. So, if your budget could use some relief as you approach a necessary sign project, vinyl is certainly a way to keep costs down and to economize.

Let’s talk soon about using vinyl graphics on an upcoming project of your own.  Whether it’s for a sign face, your vehicle doors or a full sized trailer wrap.  SignWorks has been working with Bay Area businesses just like yours for several years now.  You can reach us at (510) 357-2000.  For more information about us, just visit our website, read our blog posts or check out photos of our recent projects.  We hope our blog posts will inspire you to take action on your next sign project!  We’re looking forward to working with you.
