In fact, a sister sign company referred the client to us and what was initially a Site survey, requesting detailed measurements, mushroomed into a full-blown project requiring the graphics to be installed from the interior. This process protects the graphics from vandals, whether in the from of painted graffiti, peeling and cutting away sections of the prints. And smart retailers are willing to pay a little more for specialty vinyl’s that are mounted as second surface prints to interior windows.
Using a product called dual view vinyl, where the sticky side of the vinyl adheres to the inside of the window, requires a skilled installer who not only provides precise measurements, but also provides a bubble free application, without the visual queues that a surface mounted installation might afford.
Our client, a large banner house with its own design staff provided the graphic layouts for us to use. This was the start of a very interactive process as many of the window panels were much larger that our printer was able to print meaning that we had to section the graphics into smaller sections that were seamed together during the installation process much like wallpaper. Both our client and theirs were incredibly pleased with the end product. The pictured results speak for themselves.
