When Davis Family Resource Center  approached us several months ago SignWorks was extremely happy to be of service.  They needed the exterior panels to be updated with their service offering in both English and Spanish and wanted to include the latest logo graphics as well. Their cut vinyl lettering and colorful logo are displayed in an easy and attractive way to inform potential customers of their operating hours, telephone number, service offering and website address.  If your company is considering window graphics it is wise to also include the building and suite number.  When done correctly cut vinyl window decals can also advertise your products, services, prices and other marketing details in a very cost effective manner.  For businesses with several principal professionals, such as health care providers or insurance agents, it’s good to include a list of names on the door as well.

In operation since 1991 Davis Street has become a key community leader in guiding individuals and families out of poverty and into productive lives. The organization was initially founded as a ministry of the San Leandro First Christian Church and provided basic emergency services to the poor.  Basic services have since expanded to include primary care (medical, dental, pediatric, behavioral health and women’s health services), affordable child care through a voucher payment assistance program, child care centers, programs for the developmentally disabled, a food pantry and much more.

Vinyl window lettering can be done in standard vinyl colors including black or white, or custom in printed colors to match your specific brand. While the typical size of front door lettering is no more than 25 by 25 inches it does take some skill to install it correctly. When old lettering is being removed it must first be saturated with isopropyl alcohol after which the old lettering is scraped off with a razor blade. Once the glass is clean and dry, the new lettering is carefully centered and leveled, then taped in place while the backing is carefully cut and partially removed. Our installers use a squeegee to gradually attach the new lettering from the top down while slowly peeling away the backing. When done correctly, the letters will be free of air bubbles and adhere to the glass for many years to come.
