SignWorks , always enjoys working with realtor clients especially when the brand identity and metrics are already defined. Getting the text and copy right often takes quite a few iterations on the design front, as was the case with this project. The project called for three 24” x 24” For Sale signs with grommets to hang on the T-post in front of the property, in addition to five 24” x 18” Open House signs to hang on the five metal A-Frames we supplied. We got to work on developing approval proofs and after several rounds of changes and edits, fabricated the signs (pictured) for our new client.
Over the years we have had many realtor clients so we are very familiar with making these and the PVC Real Estate sign (for mounting to the T-post or A-Frames). These signs are used when a property is for sale and to guide passersby to the property. The “For Sale” signs are typically placed at the front of a property by the listing agent and used to advertise that the property is for sale. Often these same signs (or similar ones) are hung on portable sign hangers and A-Frames to promote a home that is open for viewing. We have all seen these strategically placed signs on street corners pointing the way to a home that is for sale and open for viewing.
Sometimes realtors will add 24” x 6” sign riders to their larger sign that will offer additional information about the property such as, “Price Reduction, By Appointment Only, Do Not Disturb Occupants,” etc. Real estate signs can take many forms, so it’s smart to have holes placed on the bottom of them for the sign riders that will advertise additional details about the property,
Similar signs are also used by commercial realtors, however, these are often made of aluminum and mounted directly to the face of the building. Sometimes commercial real estate agents will also use larger post and panel signs that are placed in the grassy frontal area of a building that is for sale or lease. They are placed strategically to maximize visibility to passing drivers. Such signs play a vital role in advertising properties and maximizing visibility to potential buyers. They are as important as making sure that the property is listed on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) in the local area.
