SignWorks is working with one of our construction partners, Alameda Point Redevelops, on a project that involves work/live, retail and a roof top garden space. The signs for the project will include banners, ADA Leasing and Evacuation Map sign and the project will complete over three different phase. Though phase one of the project and the associated signs are still in progress, our partner was so excited that the exterior leasing sign we had designed for them was complete and ahead of schedule, that they opted to install it right away. And, I must say that we are all very pleased with the result.
Working with our wholesale partner, The Sign Bracket Store, we guided our client in selecting a size, shape and bracket for their exterior leasing office sign. With our guidance the client selected a 1” thick 36” by 24” oval that is made of Cellular PVC that won’t warp, crack or chip. And, they worked with our designer to select the font and color scheme for the vinyl graphics on their sign which is complimented by a black metal straight arm bracket that is 40” long. Given the black and white lettering, this blade sign (pictured) is both stark and stunning.
The project will convert a large building that was formerly part of the Alameda Naval Base into mixed use work/live, retail and a roof garden complete with views of the San Francisco Bay. Alameda Point Developers is led by Jonah Hendrickson who developed an unused site in Berkeley into a food incubation space and Adan Martinez, formerly of Cushman & Wakefield Food and Beverage Practice Group.
We’re excited about this project and will keep you posted on the 10 ft. wide and 35 ft. long building sized banner that will hang from the top of the building. It will include stunning visuals of what the final development will look like!
