A recent re-order has SignWorks cranking out more decals for national retailer, Trader Joe’s. We are happy to have been selected as their national sign vendor and we’re excited about the opportunity. We now have art files loaded into our system for the signs the use, including the pictured 12” x 12” red cut vinyl decals used at their retail stores. We were able to process the order and ship it in just a matter of days. Like many retailers, the company uses a variety of cut vinyl decals including red address lettering for store windows, as well as for the store name and operating hours. The decals are pre-masked making them easier to install.
Trader Joe’s has a well-established brand that has been developed over several years and the retailer is extremely popular where I live. Like many of you, I shop there all the time. I find their products to be well priced and I love the broad selection of fruits, vegetables, breads, cheeses, wines and more.
Founded in 1958 by Joe Coulombe who took over a small chain of convenience stores around the LA area and called them Pronto Markets. Within ten years it became clear that the convenience store formula needed some adjustments and Joe then opened the first Trader Joe’s store in 1967 in Pasadena, CA. He took note of the changing demographics and decided to leverage his G. I. Bill benefits to garner a better education and then decided to deliver something different. He envisioned a nautical theme and it has paid off. To this day team members consider themselves “traders on the culinary seas” and are known for their bright, tropical-patterned shirts and for generally being nice, helpful, and well informed.
