Often a client will ask why a site visit is needed, especially if the installation height and power source are known factors. The problem for a sign company is that we may not be able to reach the location by ladder depending on what type of signs we’re installing and how heavy they are. Sometimes we need a boom truck with an articulating lift because and awning or platform just below where the sign is to be mounted, prevents us from getting close enough to the area. In the case of the Eclipse Nail Bar in San Jose, tall ladders were enough to reach the installation location, but again, the preliminary site inspection was necessary to confirm this.
As you can see from the picture this electrical sign installation process for the illuminated sign and channel letters was successfully installed using ladders. The illuminated logo signs will provide excellent night time visibility and promote the client’s logo and branding.
SignWorks works with only well qualified and experienced fabricators, especially when it comes to electrical signs. Our technicians are trained to perform site surveys which allow us to plan and orchestrate such things as the permitting process, equipment needs, scheduling and related logistics. Pictures taken during the site survey are used by design staff to create renderings that allow the client to view what the finished sign project will look like once in place. Things like resizing, scaling or changing the color scheme, can all be done prior to fabrication, and is based on intelligence gathered from the site survey.
