SignWorks recently finished the production and installation of several tenant and fire safety signs for Pacific West Apartments in San Leandro. The property management staff at the complex had been informed by the fire department that their signage was not in compliance and needed to be addressed. The project itself is two-fold since we are still awaiting the core maps for each floor of the building, as needed to fabricate evacuation maps for the building. More about that later.
The SignWorks technician visited the complex to assess what signage would be needed at the facility. We worked alongside property managers from Raj Properties to catalog what would be required. Once that was done, design staff worked on the art work for the client to review and approve. The fire safety and tenant signs consisted of nine 12” by 16” acrylic stairwell identification signs, nine 12” by 12” PVC interior fire door signs, a 12” by 6” FACP sign, two 12” by 6” reflective aluminum exit signs, three 12” by 18” exterior aluminum reflexive property restriction signs, along with a 10” by 12” emergency roof access sign made from DiBond.
Raj Properties offers a variety of apartment options in Berkeley, Oakland and San Leandro. They have over twenty years of experience and a staff of dedicated property managers/staff members.
SignWorks has been working with commercial and residential property managers and building owners for over eleven years, so we are able to lend our expertise to clients who may be unsure of the compliance guidelines for both fire safety and evacuation map signage.
