SignWorks was contacted recently by Virginia based LDSI a signage vendor and GSA certificate holder. They were working with a general contractor, David Boland, Inc., on a renovation project at the Army Reserve Center in Dublin and had supplied the signage for the project. They needed a local sign company to assist them in installing the signs. We were happy to lend a hand and reviewed the plans, drawings and sign schedule to ensure we knew what was needed.
As you can see from the picture the 30” circular bronze and aluminum plaque and 1” thick (8 inch tall) aluminum dimensional lettering are mounted approximately 13 ft. above ground. This meant coordinating the delivery of a scissor lift from our equipment rental supplier to reach the mounting height. Moving a ladder back and forth to position the lettering would have been time consuming and inefficient. While we cannot take credit for the signs themselves, we do pride ourselves on professional installation services where everything is level, clean and legible!
