SignWorks has worked with the Assumption Catholic School Dad’s Club before and we appreciate their repeat business. Each year the Dad’s Club hosts a golfing event and each year it’s a mad dash to get their project complete given the last minute nature of the sponsor commitments. Our design staff has to hustle because we often are not given art files for corporate logos or businesses names, which means that we have to create approval art based on what is publically available, and sometimes create it from scratch. This year there were ten sponsors in all and one who sponsored more than one hole. For each sponsor there was a double sided 24” by 18’ Coroplast sign, complete with H stake to be mounted close to the specific golf hole. The larger Sponsorship sign (pictured) measured 36” by 24” and featured a collage of all the sponsoring companies. The digital prints, twenty-four in all, were produced by our digital print wholesaler given the rapid turn-around time that was required.
The Assumption Dads Club is a part of the Church of the Assumption of the BVM Parish. This parochial school is located in San Leandro and features a Transitional Kindergarten through 8 grade curriculum. The Dad’s Club mission is to support the school and parish through a variety of fundraising and outreach activities. It is a volunteer organization that works to support the school through fundraising activities, with specific emphasis on support of Catholic Youth Organizations sports programs. Funds raised from the annual golf scramble, car show, movie night and other events are used to offset the cost of student registration, uniforms, equipment and much more.
Over the years SignWorks has worked with many Bay Area businesses on event signs, whether for golfing and sporting events or for business luncheons and tradeshows. Event signs come in varying styles depending on the venue, but banners and prints mounted to Coroplast or PVC, are perhaps the most popular. If you are planning an upcoming event and need signs for it we would love to hear from you. Call us at (510) 357-2000 so we can assist you with the entire process, even if you need help with your initial design concept.
