SignWorks is happy to report on the completion of eight new property restriction signs aimed at keeping the public safe.  The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) had approached us about making the eight 24” wide by 36” tall aluminum signs aimed at enforcing current no trespassing and to protect the public from drowning danger.  We’re not sure exactly where the agency is placing the signs as they are opting to use their own maintenance staff to mount them.  The signs include an anti-graffiti laminate to protect them against vandalism and make them easier to keep clean and graffiti free.

Our process included a design review phase to ensure that no typographical errors were introduced.  We ordered the sign blanks made of .080 thick aluminum, to include radius corners, and then mounted the laminated prints to the substrate.

Santa Clara VTA was established in 1972 to provide sustainable community focused transportation options to its ridership, including bus, light rail and paratransit services.  Their approach is both innovative and very environmentally friendly.  The agency is responsible for countywide transportation and congestion management and is charged with the design and construction of highway, pedestrian and bicycle improvement projects.  VTA works in conjunction with Caltrain, Capital Corridor and Altamont Corridor Express.

SignWorks has been working with government agencies, property managers and contractors to provide property and parking restriction signs in a variety of different sizes and using the appropriate gauges of aluminum depending on the overall size of the sign blank or panel. If you are in need of either standardized parking restriction signs or need our help to develop custom verbiage for your sign please give us a call at (510) 357-2000.  Please connect with us as your go-to source for parking and property restriction signs. We’ve been making signs like these since 2008.  We hope you will visit our website to learn more about our company, our projects and/or to view recent blog posts and photographs.
