When we first spoke with our client a major print vendor in Dublin, they were looking for a signage partner to help them with some unique services that they do not offer in house.  Their client base reads like the who’s who of Silicon Valley, and while they’ll happily supply the print and wall graphics, whether small or large digital format, the client roster means that they will often partner with others to fill the needs that their clients will ask for help in satisfying.

AMP Printing, has been around since its founding 1979 and like SignWorks is woman owned.  They operate in a 200, 000 square foot state of the art facility in Dublin, CA with a staff of over 150 employees.  The company provides several print services that include traditional offset printing, short run digital printing, large format digital printing, letterpress and more.  They offer bindery, kitting and fulfillment services.

Their client Google had some ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) room sign needs at their San Francisco facility that (absent replacing all the room signs on that floor with a new color), required a match to the existing one.   SignWorks was happy to help out!  One of the wholesalers we use specializes in color matching to existing ADA signs, so adding three new color matched 9 ¼” wide x 3 ½” tall ADA room signs was the order of the day!  We asked the client to mail a sample and then proceeded to the proofing process.  Once approved the art proof was authorized by the client for production.

While we have not received and cannot share anything other than a generic ADA sign photograph, we are sure that the client is pleased at not having to invest in new ADA room signs for the entire floor!  At SignWorks we love when great ideas come together to save our clients (and their client) time and money!  If your building has been recently renovated and you’re looking for new ADA room signs, fire safety signs and/or evacuation maps, we hope you’ll consider us as a great source.  Matching the look and feel of existing ADA signs is something we do well.  Our company works closely with several wholesalers on Braille and Tactile signs, and the upfront color calibration that is involved.
