Last Spring we worked with Cahill Contractors, Oakland to fabricate two exterior building signs for two locations in Oakland.   Both were made of DiBond and were being used to brand commercial building structures in Oakland.  Recently we were contacted by another Cahill employee who wanted to reorder the smaller of the two signs for another location.  The new additional sign will be fabricated using DiBond, a metal composite that combines two thin sheets of metal with a corrugated plastic core to make a light weight but extremely durable sign that is often used for exterior buildings.  We’re not sure exactly where this particular sign will be mounted, but the other two were being mounted, one at roof level on a corrugated metal warehousing building and the other on a fence.

The new exterior sign is 8 ft. wide and 3 ft. tall and as shown in the approval photo proof.  It features the company corporate logo and color scheme and will be used to brand the location where it is being used.  Like most large construction companies, Cahill knows the importance of branding and marketing!  In fact, SignWorks continues to work with many construction companies to provide a range of sign types including building signs, yard signs, project identification signs, evacuation and safety signs, as well as roadway signs, to name a few.

Cahill Contractors considers itself as a master builder.  The company has been around for over a hundred years and is local to the San Francisco Bay Area.  Their projects range in scope from small tenant renovations and improvements, to large high rise buildings in the commercial, education, health care and housing sectors.  They are a family owned business that prides itself on teamwork and integrity.

SignWorks is pleased to have Cahill as a repeat customer, and because the art work is already on file, will be able to expedite the design and fabrication of this new sign.  We are proud of the relationships we are building and would like to hear from you regarding any upcoming construction signage needs.  We’re just a phone call away and look forward to hearing from you at (510) 357-2000!  Feel free to peruse our website and view our blog posts and project photos to learn more about who we are and what we do.
