We have worked with several clients over the years who wanted to dress up their interior conference rooms or add a privacy element so that team members meeting in a glass encased conference room did not feel like they were on display.  Sometimes the etched glass vinyl is done in a simple band style and at other times there has been a design element or pattern integrated into the layout to create a more decorative look.  This type of specialty vinyl is considered a premium vinyl and has other qualities that allow it to reduce glare and help to filer sunlight.

Another specialty vinyl called perforated vinyl allows large windows and store fronts to become prime advertising space!  Perforated vinyl is used primarily for vehicle windows, glass storefronts and doors.  Often it is used in conjunction with wrap vinyl on a vehicle which allows the design theme to continue onto the window areas but allows the driver to still see outside.  This is because of the tiny holes in the vinyl itself.  When used on glass store fronts it provides privacy and reduces the heat and glare from direct sunlight, while displaying top notch advertising.  The 3M version comes in a 50/50 coverage (50% holes to 50% vinyl) as well as a 60/40 option.  The outdoor life can be up to three years, depending on the quality of the vinyl.  One year is more typical.
