Recently we were approached by a property management company to fabricate a way-finding sign for their apartment complex. The sign in question needed to be a smaller version of a similar sign and made to match a larger existing companion sign although the text and dimensions were different. We initially explored a smaller more economical aluminum sign which was to be used to direct vendors and the like to the leasing office. Since the apartment complex is an upscale one management decided it was more appropriate to match the existing routed HDU (high density urethane) signage already visible at the complex. Since the complex is in a wooded and scenic area the wood like appearance of HDU and its environmentally friendly qualities were important. They wanted the new sign to be an architecturally and aesthetic match, even though it was to be mounted on a single pole unlike the companion/existing sign.

Our design staff worked with the client to develop a sign that would match. He replicated the design, material and color of the existing signage to match the existing signs at the complex.

If you have a signage project where the design characteristics, materials and colors need to match signage that already exists, give SignWorks a call at (510) 357-2000. We are happy to put our design skills to work in matching your existing signs and specifications.
