We told you some months ago that we were asked to do a site inspection of the downtown Oakland Atrium Building. We also told you that it was a fabulous architectural structure with great “bones” and lots of potential. The issue was that the tenants had each done what they thought was appropriate signage which varied from overhead paper arrows and directional notes taped to windows and/or doors. Although the project is similar in scope to the Swan Way building its key components fall into three main areas:

• Exterior Sign-Face w/Dimensional Lettering, (2) 17″ X 20″ Plaques

• Smaller Interior Tenant Signs that will work with the more limited wall space that is available for this particular building

• Floor Directories and assorted facilities signs, including restroom signage

Much of the work will commence at the same time, once the building logo that we have developed is fully approved. The color palate is comprised of Oyster, Duranodic, and Black with bronze and brushed aluminum accents. More than likely, the gating item will be ensuring that the building evacuation maps are properly diagramed and meet with the approval of the Oakland Fire Marshall.

We are very excited about this project and will keep you up to date on our progress. If you are a building owner or property manager who needs to give your building a fresh updated look, we would love to hear from you. Give us a call at (510) 357-2000!
