They say cleanliness is next to Godliness and you may, or may not, agree. However, when it comes to fleet and vehicle graphics, I thought I would add my two cents! It goes without saying that any portion of the vehicle wrap that involved the creating and attaching of a digital image should have been protected by an over laminate to prevent damage to the printed image. Such a practice will help the print last longer and adds a degree of protection from harsh elements created by temperature extremes. Also, hand washing versus drive through power washers is a “best practice” since nicks and abrasions will be worsened by those high powered nozzles. Heavy duty chemicals and degreasers should be avoided, so use mild non-abrasive soaps instead.
The best tip of all; use common sense. If you not sure and have any questions feel free to call SignWorks at 510-357-2000. We will happily to consult with you on cleaning tips as well as any upcoming vehicle wrap projects.
