We’ve been hard at work with the General Contractor (Shimmick Construction) and representatives from MUNI to finalize the signage needed for the last phase of the Historic Geneva Car Museum renovation project. The renovation project (including an ADA upgrade component) meant working with a committee sized group on the design and fabrication of restroom, entryway, exit signs and evacuation maps.
Project management skills were at a premium, as were keeping track of and documenting changes. Managing everything from changes to the specifications, design enhancements, revisions to the lettering size and color scheme, meant that our design staff had to pay attention to detail while managing conflicting input from the various constituents. The project, which has been over a year in the making, is finally completely approved and we’ll be posting pictures very soon!
