Recently a customer contacted us for help in sourcing a mobile digital display company. They had an upcoming event they wanted to promote and were interested in either buying or leasing such a vehicle. While mobile digital display mounted on a box truck or utility vehicle is the way of the future, for temporary events it is probably more cost effective to rent a box truck, use temporary inexpensive vinyl to promote the event, and then simply have the graphics remove when the event has concluded. The vinyl is easily removed from a U-Haul, Enterprise or other rented box truck without any damage to the paint whatsoever! While the impact will not be the same as a scrolling mobile digital display, the alternative is an extremely affordable solution and very appropriate for short-term event specific use! In todayâs climate of shrinking advertising dollars, especially for shorter campaigns, it is a way to economize while simultaneously promoting your event.
